Access

Most of this website is freely available to everyone. The resources have accumulated through time and careful work of many volunteers. If you are not our Member, but have enjoyed the website, we would greatly appreciate receiving a donation (see bottom of this page).

However, we only provide login details to paid up Members. This provides access to certain exclusive resources, such as:

IGG Data Policy

The only data that we securely store in the website are your login details that include your username, password and email address.

We do not store any other personally identifiable data, e.g. physical address, phone number, as part of our website.

We do not need or store your bank details at all.

Your physical address is stored off-site, in the International Geraniaceae Group office, and is only used to send you occasional Group publications.

We do not make your data available to third parties for marketing or any other purposes, and we only store your data while you remain a paid up Member of the International Geraniaceae Group.

By becoming a Member of the International Geraniaceae Group, you agree to the above data policy.

Signing up

To sign up and pay your membership fee, please see here. All our Members receive login details directly from the website – please make sure that our emails do not end up in your spam folder!

Logging in

Once you receive the login details, please go to the Login page and enter your details. Please make sure that your password includes at least 8 characters, including numbers and special characters.

Recovering your Password

If you have forgotten your login details, go to the Recover Password page and enter the username or the email with which you have registered your login details. You will receive an email from “WordPress” with a link that will enable you to set up a new password.

If you don’t receive such an email, look into the spam folder.

If all else fails, write to our admin, we will endeavour to help the best way we can.

Renewing your Membership

If your Membership is close to expiry or has already expired, you can renew it on the page Manage account.

You should see the link ‘Renew’, if your renewal is due in 15 days or less (or has expired). This will take you directly to PayPal facilities.

If you don’t have access to PayPal facilities, please write to our Membership Secretary to explore options.

If you would like to renew earlier than 15 days before expiry, please transfer the membership fee to paypal@geraniaceae-group.org directly in PayPal, and indicate who the renewal is for. We will then ensure that your online profile is updated.

Cancelling your Membership

Your Membership is valid for 12 calendar months, however, you can choose to cancel or abandon your Membership at any time should you so desire.

Please go to Manage account, follow the link ‘View Details’, and follow the link ‘Cancel’ or ‘Abandon’. We regret that we cannot return a proportion of the Membership fee if you choose to prematurely rescind your Membership.
