Seed List 2017

This page was published just to provide more information about our Seed Exchange scheme.

To obtain seed from our Seed List you must be a member of the Geraniaceae Group (see How to join us).

Seed Donors will obtain the Seed List & Seed Request Form automatically. All other members have to request a copy either by e-mail or letter to the Seed Secretary Allan Robinson (address & email in the Newsletter). The last date for requesting seed is February 19th 2017

This page can't be used to request seed.

Notes on Seeds

We accept the name supplied by donors. No guarantee can be offered about the correct identification of the parent plant.

Seed from Cultivars or Hybrids do not come true and the original name should not be used, except as - e.g. Ex. Geranium 'Ballerina'. We should be very careful when raising seed from Cultivars as careless naming will cause long term nomenclatural problems/mis-identification.

Donated seed is assumed to have been collected from cultivated plants unless otherwise stated.

The list of Donors and details about the origin of the seeds offered, whether self pollinated, isolated or wild collected are given only in the official Seed List edited by the Seed Secretary.

Note on List Format:

*  ? = unknown species or doubtful details

*  Double inverted commas at each end of a name e.g."species" indicates that the name in question is either doubtful, incorrect or un-resolved
